'' This course provides provides students with basic translation techniques from English into French through texts, articles, literary works, film reviews, scientific and technical texts. While working directly with texts, this course will develop the complete range of linguistic skills (oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression). Students gain linguistic proficiency while mastering modern written and oral French and while comparing the manner in which people of both cultures express themselves.
