'' A practical introduction to the creation and deployment of e-commerce web sites. e-commerce is now a key component of business strategy. The web is a new channel for business and this course teaches delegates the technical aspects of exploiting that channel.
It is clearly important that web developers understand the key points of electronic commerce (e-commerce) before embarking on projects that will become part of the public face of the organisation.

This course focuses on the fact that e-commerce sites must reflect the way an organisation works. The interface must be easy for anyone to use. The information must be up to date and the ‘behind the scenes�operation must be fast and effective. All these points will win and keep customers if implemented properly.

Parity’s consultants will teach developers how to implement business-to-customer and business-to-business commerce solutions using Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition and the pipeline technology.

The course consists of a combination of lectures and practical sessions based on a case study in e-commerce. This means that delegates will come away with a thorough technical grounding in the subject from a theoretical and practical point of view.
