This module will examine the performance of exterior windows, doors and curtain walls with respect to air leakage resistance, water penetration resistance, structural capacity, durability, operation, condensation resistance, U-value, solar heat gain, visible light transmission, and energy performance. The specification of windows and curtain walls will be emphasized through examination of performance levels established through codes and standards.
