'' This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to successfully plan, schedule, and control simple to complex construction projects. The course will also explore how to better manage projects that require various energy efficiency and sustainable building requirements and certifications. A portion of this course introduces you to MS project and how software can be used as a project management tool. Students will work on the development of schedules based on sample construction projects that cover institutional, commercial, industrial and residential type projects. The course will also explore how to better manage projects that require various energy efficiency and sustainable building requirements and certifications.

The course is suitable for general contractors, site supervisors, and project managers, project coordinators, or anyone involved in the planning, scheduling, and controlling of construction projects.

This course is pending Gold Seal Approval. The Gold Seal program is a national certification program developed by the Canadian Construction Association that recognizes construction management excellence, based on education, experience, and examination. Certification is available for the occupations of estimator, superintendent and project manager in support of the Canadian construction industry.
