Course Description:

'' The EVMS processes incorporate best practices for program and project management systems that require strong applications for program or enterprise planning and control. The processes include integration of program scope, schedule, and cost objectives, establishment of a baseline plan for accomplishment of program objectives and use of earned value techniques for performance measurement during the execution of a program. EVMS provides a solid platform for risk identification, corrective actions, and management re-planning as may be required over the life of a project or program.

This course emphasis is on a government application according to the latest government EVMS principles and concepts and in accordance with the most recent Department of Defense (DOD) and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidelines and regulations for Earned Value Management. The concepts may also be applied to any project whether government or commercial.
