'' This course is designed and developed by PgMPSM certified consultants and instructors and aims to prepare professionals who are familiar with the principles of program management for the Program Management Professional (PgMPSM) Examination. The course is based on PMI’s 2006 Standard for Program Management, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide �Third Edition) and PMI’s Program Management Professional Examination Specification. Each module contains exam samples developed by certified PgMPSM individuals. At the end of the course you are give access to an on-line sample exam. Gain a detailed understanding of program management and understand the role of project managers and the interface between project and program managers, the competencies of a program manager, and the interface between program and portfolio managers. You will understand how program managers align and manage benefits, engage and involve stakeholder groups and establish governance across the program life cycle.
For each of the five phases of the life cycle (modules 2-6) we will cover: Phase objectives and key activities Benefit management tasks during the phase Governance considerations during the phase Stakeholder management activities during the phase Key Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing processes required during the phase Sample questions
