Training Course:Professional Childrens WritingSchool/Trainer:Australian College Sydney, NSW, Australia
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' Telling stories for children is a 10,000 year old art—and adults are natural story tellers. When they read, the kids snuggle up and listen with rapt attention. And good stories get repeated forever.
Telling a story is part art, part skill. And any skill can be learned. Our Professional Children’s Writing Course has been written by an award-winning author. After a lifetime writing and editing books, including ‘Yatesfor kids, Janice wants to share with you everything she knows about writing stories for children.
Through this unique insight into the world of children’s writing you will gain a wonderful understanding of what it’s like to look at the world through a child’s eyes. You will learn how to take your simple ideas and expand them, weaving interesting stories that children will love to read.
This course will teach you how to be a better writer, how to write for the different children’s book genres and age groups, and how to market your stories so that editors will publish them. And, believe me, seeing your name on the front cover of your first book on the shelves—is an exhilarating feeling.
Successful children’s authors, like Janice, were once beginners, just like you. They simply learned how to write. Get started today and before you know it, you will have a book on the shelves and be a children’s writer.
And one of the fabulous things you will find with this course is that your tutor is Margaret Clark, one of Australias most successful childrens authors.
