'' This course complies with the training regulation of the Pesticides Act, 1999. This course provides you with the ability to develop risk management procedures for the safe transport, storage and handling, mixing and loading, application and disposal of agricultural chemicals. You will also learn about maintaining adequate records and how to develop an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to controlling pests, including the selection of appropriate chemicals for a given pest and strategies to prevent the development of resistance to chemicals in pest species. This course requires a minimum number of students to run. It also includes a practical session.
