'' This module introduces students to the history and development of NLP and the foundational premises for using NLP as a behavioural technology.
Students learn: to recognise the components of state management and how to develop appropriate resourceful states; to identify the conditions of well-formed outcomes; to develop rapport; to understand and apply the non-verbal communications patterns that people use; and, to appreciate other peoples maps of reality. Students are introduced to the use of metaphor and story telling throughout the duration of the course. NLP provides essential information for highly effective work in the fields of education and learning, business performance, counselling and groupwork.
