How can this course help me?
Each unit follows a series of steps that include teaching points, explanations, examples and practical activities. You can build your skills with 350 interactive tasks across the four units. As you work through each task, you receive instant feedback on your performance �informing you what you need to keep working on.
You also have the opportunity to practice questions similar to those on the IELTS test.
What sort of feedback will I receive?
As you work through each unit, you will receive instant feedback that includes explanations, reasons for correct or incorrect answers and hints to help you find correct answers. In the Speaking and Writing units, you will have access to an online tutor.
How long does each unit take?
Most students will find that each unit requires about 25 hours of study. Your access time in the course depends on how many units you enrol in - from 30 days for one unit to 90 days if you enrol in all four units.
How can I practice my speaking?
In the Speaking unit, students will use an online voice recording technology to record their answers to questions, play them back and compare them to model answers. Students can record a practice interview and send it to their online tutor. The tutor then records their feedback online, eliminating expensive long-distance telephone calls or cassette recordings.
