It is possible to study the MBA (Executive) program fully ‘face-to-face�where offered, or through a combination of face-to-face and online modes. This is a great advantage for students who may be relocated in their jobs or for those who want greater flexibility in their lifestyle.
Most units in the RMIT OUA MBA (Executive) are delivered online. However, the first unit, OMBA100 Global Business Context, is offered in two options �either entirely online or as a combination of residential plus online �it is highly recommended that you take the residential plus online option for this first unit. The final unit, OMBA400 Implementing Strategy, is offered as a compulsory face-to-face residential of about four days in Melbourne, Australia.
A variation of the face-to-face mode is units offered as one-week intensives by the RMIT Graduate School of Business.These are usually substitutes for electives. The cost of doing the unit is the same, however, there are additional costs for airfares, accommodation and food. As a general rule, at least 1-2 units need to be successfully completed before an intensive can be undertaken.
