'' Certificate III in Tourism (Visitor Information Services) provides students with the range of skills and technical knowledge required to work effectively as part of a team, and possibly a team leader in the Tourism Industry, in a broad range of tourism operations.
Certificate III in Tourism (Operations) is designed to reflect the role of tourism operators who work in the outbound and inbound information services and sales sector, and also staff in these roles in tourist destinations. Graduates will develop the ability to perform a range of skills enabling the performance of tasks using discretion and judgement, and have the ability to select, adapt and transfer skills to different situations. Certificate III in Tourism (Visitor Information services) qualifies graduates for positions in the Tourism Industry such as Information Officer; Booking Agent; Planning and Product Development; and General Administration.
