'' As a qualified veterinary nurse you will be called upon to perform a wide range of veterinary support and animal care operations which may include:
- conduct of the total clinic operation; - implementation of animal housing and kennel organisation; - supervision of other clinic employees; - provision of support to the veterinarian for a wide range of medical and surgical procedures; - patient monitoring in both the kennel environment and during surgical or medical procedures; - making management decisions, for example, prioritising patients on admission to the clinic, known as triage; and - communication with veterinary industry organisations, suppliers, consultants and contractors. ...''
