'' An accelerated program, designed for professionals who have extensive bookkeeping experience.

Draft legislation released for comment in May 2008 proposes that entities providing BAS services for a fee will need to be registered as a BAS agent. The exposure draft package provides for a transitional period of three years from the date of effect of the legislation to allow entities to comply with the proposed legislation.

Should the draft legislation be enacted, this qualification can assist in meeting the educational qualifications component of the registration requirements.
