Qualification & Recognition: Upon successful completion of this level of training, students will be eligible to receive the national horticulture qualification, Diploma in Horticulture). This course is recognised by the Horticulture Industry as meeting the requirements of workers in that industry. Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer: You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring your skills acquired through work or life experiences, or through qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. Management and maintenance of public and private parks, reserves and gardens
Management and maintenance of natural bushland and community recreation areas
Design and implementation of special plant displays
Provision of advice on plant selection and use for domestic and commercial situations
Contract administration and management.
Who Can Apply: People who have successfully completed other levels of the national horticulture curriculum
Students who have successfully completed Year 12 or
Individuals defined as being of mature age (mature age is defined as being aged 18 or over and away from formal education for at least one year). Selection Criteria: Individuals who possess the motivation to undertake and complete the course. ...''
