Entry Requirements: Candidates:
are selected on the basis of an interview and a language awareness task
should be at least 18 years old by the start of the course (it is generally recommended that candidates be aged 20 years or over)
should have a good standard of education,(at minimum, a good level of education that would enable entry into tertiary education)*
should have a standard of English, both written and spoken, adequate to allow successful completion of all aspects of the course.
* Please note that for employment in Australia as an English as a Second Language teacher, the candidate at a minimum also requires an undergraduate degree.
