'' This course assists students who want to learn English before pursuing further study or work opportunities within Australia.
We aim to provide higher level English skills to students from non-English speaking background. It covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, including grammar and pronunciation for students who want to learn or improve their English, prior to living and working in Australia.
Qualification & Recognition: After successfully completing this course, students are eligible to receive the Certificate III in English as a Second Language (Access).
Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer: You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring your skills acquired through work or life experiences, or through qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any other Registered Training Organisation will be recognised by the Institute. Contact Holmesglen to obtain an information brochure.
Who Can Apply: People from a non-English speaking background who need to improve their ability in the English language for living and working in Australia.
Selection Criteria: People from a non-English speaking background who are over 18
People who are motivated and have the ability to learn as assessed at an initial interview.
