'' This course is an 18 month full time program designed to provide participants with training to gain the knowledge and skills to work as a massage therapist. Participants learn how to assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction, alleviate pain, improve body function and manage musculoskeletal injuries. This course trains participants using a combination of theory subjects, practical experience and vocational projects.
Qualification & Recognition: Upon successful completion of the course, participants are eligible to receive the Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification.
Career Opportunities: The course is vocationally oriented and allows you to gain employment as a Remedial Massage Therapist in a massage or multidisciplinary clinic.
Who Can Apply: Those who have successfully completed VCE Year 12, its equivalent or as a mature age applicant.
Selection Criteria: Selection is a combination of an Expression of Interest form, Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) and interview (where deemed necessary).
