MBA (Master Degree)

School/Trainer:

GradSchool.com
Newcastle, NSW, Australia

Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced

Course Description:

'' The MBA is designed to provide students with a range of analytic, strategic, cross-cultural and leadership skills, and is taught using a variety of learning and assessment strategies.

The program offers a grounding in fundamental business areas such as accounting, finance, organisational behaviour, economics, marketing, and management. Analytic and problem solving skills are emphasised through an understanding of the theoretical framework within which today’s managers must operate, as well as the acquisition of practical skills in writing, analyzing information and problem solving. The ability to cope with rapid organisational and technological change is developed through an understanding of organisational behaviour, information systems and organisational change and development.

Admission Criteria

The program in which a student enrols is largely determined on the basis of qualifications and experience. Students with substantial work experience but who lack formal qualifications will probably enter at Graduate Certificate level. Students with relevant experience and a first degree will most likely enrol directly into the MBA program.

Graduate Certificate in Business Administration

Applicants must have a Diploma or Certificate of satisfactory merit from a recognised institution and two years work experience; or 10 years work experience

Students who enter at the Graduate Certificate may, on completion of their program, proceed to the next award level with full credit for work completed at the lower level. Progression from the Graduate Certificate to the MBA is only available to students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 4.0 (a Pass grade) or greater.

Master of Business Administration

Applicants must have a Bachelor degree of satisfactory merit from a recognised institution and two years work experience; or a Diploma of satisfactory merit from a recognised institution and five years work experience. If you do not have the appropriate qualifications for direct entry into the Master’s program you may be offered entry into the Graduate Certificate program.
