'' This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to effectively work in the roof plumbing and services sector, read plans and calculate plumbing quantities, carry out measurements and calculations and work safely on roofs. You will also learn skills in cutting and joining sheet metal, using plumbing hand and power tools, marking out materials and using simple levelling devices. As part of this course you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.

Take your first step to a career where you’ll never be short of work. Learn hand and power plumbing tool skills, how to cut and join sheet metal, and marking out materials. Successful completion of this course provides you with the opportunity to gain an apprenticeship to become a roof plumber. You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice before you can commence apprenticeship training.
