'' This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to manage the operations of commercial and industrial projects as well as low rise residential building sites. Subjects covered include those in Certificate IV in Building plus, you will learn about contract law, building computing, tendering, planning and scheduling and quantity surveying of residential, industrial and commercial building sites. As part of this qualification you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.

Use this qualification to become a housing supervisor, project or contract manager, quantity surveyor or anything else that needs solid a solid academic qualification. Learn how to manage commercial and industrial projects, tendering, contract law, planning and scheduling and quantity surveying. This qualification can also take you to university.

Balga Campus is a major centre in WA for training in the building and construction industries. Our workshops are purpose built. Training with the advanced equipment will give you up-to-date skills and knowledge. Our lecturers are experienced and maintain close links to building and construction organisations so that training is industry relevant and opportunities for student involvement in real-life projects are available.
