'' This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to record and create summaries of the financial transactions of a business or other organisation for management purposes. Subjects covered include those in Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical), plus you will learn both manual and computerised accounting to undertake duties such as completing a business activity statement and other tax requirements, operational reporting, preparation of budgets, classifying, recording and reporting.

It’s tax time and it’s all down to you. Have you got the BAS under control and the budget all sorted? This qualification builds on Certificate III in Financial Services, and takes your skills much further. Learning areas include managing a small office, financial reporting, management reporting, job costing, manual and computer accounts systems and budget preparation and management.

Successful completion may mean promotion for you at work or improvement in your chances of securing employment. You may be considering embarking upon a career in Accounting, or you may use these qualifications as a stepping stone to University studies. The Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) is designed to introduce you to the practical skills required to prepare accounting records (both manually and computerised) for a variety of business organisations and in the public sector.
