'' This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to assist the teaching staff in schools and provide care and supervision for children with special learning and physical needs from kindergarten to Year 12. You will learn skills to foster and enhance the social, emotional, psychological, cognitive and language development of children. You will also learn skills to develop and implement procedures for young people to address their needs, implement behaviour modification programs and enhance the inclusion of children with special needs. As part of this qualification you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.
