'' This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to select, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electronic, computer, renewable energy, industrial equipment and devices at component/sub-assembly level as well as it provides a specialisation for electrical drafting. You will learn about solutions to basic engineering problems, solve problems in extra-low voltage single path, multi path DC and frequency dependent circuits as well as digital components of electronic apparatus. You will be able to choose from specialisations in Electronic & Electrical, Computer Systems, Electrical Drafting, Renewable Energy and Instrumentation Control.

Swan TAFE Thornlie Campus offers a choice of two pathways in Electrotechnology. The first is a computer systems specific pathway, and a second generic electronics pathway.
