Swan TAFE offers English courses for migrants at all our campuses (except Bentley), so you can study close to your home and make friends with people who live and work close to you. Our lecturers are friendly and very supportive, and will always be willing to help you with your study. The Certificate III in Spoken and Written English assists students with intermediate level English skills from non-English speaking backgrounds who want to develop the language and literacy skills required to undertake further education and training, seek and maintain employment, and participate in the community. The certificate will lead to further studi in Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English.
There are no specific entrance requirements for the Certificate of Spoken and Written English. Candidates are placed according to their English level on the Australian Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ASLPR) Scale. Recognition of Prior Learning will be determined by interview and placement procedures. There are 4 levels of the Certificates in Spoken and Written English (CSWE). ...''
