'' As from 1 January 2007, all employees or self employed people doing construction work at a workplace will need to show evidence that they have received safety awareness training. The training required by the new regulations aims to provide participants with a basic knowledge and understanding of the requirements of occupational safety and health legislation and of the management of hazards associated with construction work.
