'' This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to create custom made, large scale floristry design, and designs using an advanced techniques and medium, and manage business operations. You will learn skills in effective communication, operating retail equipment, creating a display for a small business and implementing floristry products and services plan. You will also learn financial management, forecasting market and business needs and managing a small team.
This is a training program that leads to the completion of the Floristry Training Package WRF04 qualification WRF40104.
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of team leaders and supervisors in the industry sector.
This is a national qualification from the Floristry Training Package. All training completed in this qualification is recognised in all Australian states and territories.
All Units are taught in clusters with emphasis on classroom discussion and participation. The small business component of the course will cover a broad range of varied floristry activities and applications most of which are complex and non-routine.
Leadership and guidance are involved when organising activities of self and others as well as analysing market conditions and contributing to technical solutions. Skills are acquired to evaluate and analyse current practices, develop new procedures for performing current practices and provide guidance to others in the application and planning of skills.
The practical component of the qualification covers advanced design of floral items for different purposes, including corporate, competition, contemporary and function requirements with a high level of planning, coordination and merchandising. ...''
