'' This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to apply the full range of face and body treatments. Subjects include those covered in Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, plus you will learn skills in aromatherapy and the use of essential oils, and applying make-up for photography or to cover skin conditions. You may choose from subjects which can include advanced beauty treatments, training skills, frontline management, or small business management. As part of this qualification you will undertake a supervised work placement where you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned.
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy aims to produce Beauty Therapists of the highest level of professional training. The practical component of the course covers all the skills required by a professionally qualified Beauty Therapist. Students also complete workplace experience in host salons, in-house in our training clinic and our flagship Fremantle city clinic under the supervision of a practising Beauty Therapist.
