'' This course is designed to give participants the necessary knowledge and skills to fabricate and install basic steel piping systems.
Pre requisite
Previous experience in steel fabrication and welding is required.
Course Content
The training plan is based on Modules from the CCC423 Mechanical System 3 Training Package developed by the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
Upon successful completion of this training the participant should be competent to:
�Carry out job planning
�Organise materials and equipment
�Mark out piping to be fabricated
�Fabricate basic pressure piping systems
�Install basic pressure piping systems

The training also covers basic piping installation theory including, general safety; applications for steel pressure piping; material selection; equipment required for fabrication and installation; pipe jointing; pipe supports; fabrication; table of colouring and lettering details; general installation requirements.
Certification

Successful candidates will be issued with an Australian Skills Training Certificate of Competency.
Duration
40 hours over 5 days.
