'' TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment specifies the competencies required to deliver training in an industry area or area of subject
matter expertise, and to conduct competency based assessment in a range of contexts. Within the Australian Quality Training Framework, standard
7.4 i) stipulates that registered training organisations must ensure that training is conducted, or directly supervised, by a person who holds TAA40104
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its equivalent).
Target Audience
This qualification is appropriate for individuals such as:
VET professionals such as work place or RTO Trainers and assessors, teachers/trainers, educationalists, support personnel and middle level technical
managers
· already employed in a Registered Training Organisation
· (RTO) and want your existing competencies recognised
· have some experience conducting informal workplace training
· have never trained others but have a technical qualification and want to move into training as a new career
· want to pick up some of the skills offered in the units as professional development
Qualification Structure
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is comprised of fourteen units: twelve core units and two elective units as packaged in our timetable.
Client Support
Participants can contact Chamber administration staff via email regarding learning and assessment activities. Facilitators and Assessors will be made
available as required to assist with those enquiries. Further Client support days have been scheduled into each series to assist with completion of final
