'' This program has several pathways of delivery for either pre-apprenticeship or traineeship. Pre-apprenticeships studies are either automotive mechanical or automotive electrical, which are primarily designed to introduce school leavers to the automotive industry & to improve their prospects of gaining an apprenticeship. Pre-apprenticeship programs also provide an opportunity to make realistic choices about future occupations.
Traineeship programs are offered for: Air Conditioning, Cylinder Head Reconditioning, Exhaust Fitting and Tyre Fitting (Light).

Entry requirements
Entry into the pre-apprenticeship program requires students to be a minimum of 15 years of age and require successful completion of year 10 with a grade of satisfactory or higher for English, Maths and one other subject. These studies will be integrated as a senior studies program.
For entry into the traineeship programs, a learner must currently be employed as a trainee and must have signed a registered training contract.
Career possibilities Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Engine Reconditioning, and/or further VET study.
