'' Breadth, depth, and complexity of knowledge and skills would prepare a person to perform in a range of varied activities or knowledge application where there is a clearly defined range of contexts in which the choice of actions is usually clear and there is limited complexity in the range of options to be applied.
The trainee undertaking this role will read and interpret drawings, perform basic welding, cutting and fabricating, finish and paint surfaces, assemble and fit out components, make minor modifications and repairs. The trainee will also acquire skills in receiving and storing parts and operating load shifting equipment. Communication and team working skills will also be developed by the trainee.
