Training Course:Introduction to Black & White PrintingSchool/Trainer:Toronto Image Works Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' Printing your own b/w photos is an affordable and fun way to ensure that you are satisfied with your finished pictures. Simple darkroom techniques can be used to make your image look much better than a machine-produced print. You will learn how to direct the eye by selectively lightening and darkening parts of the picture, and how to brighten up a flat print or bring out lost details by adjusting the contrast. You can also enlarge your photos without breaking your budget.
Since the classes are small, students will have use of their own darkroom, and will be supplied with a package of printing paper. Toronto Image Works uses paper processors, avoiding the need for messy open trays of chemistry and decreasing development times so you can get more done in a shorter period.
