Course Description:
'' This course covers the requirements for drivers of vehicles transporting dangerous goods in bulk.
The dangerous goods classes covered are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8 and 9.
Upon successful completion of the course the driver is able to approach their State or Territory transport department and apply for the issue of that state or territory’s Driver Authorisation
DESIGNED FOR
This course is approved by the Environmental Protection Authority and is required by drivers to obtain a licence for transporting Bulk Dangerous Goods.
PRE-REQUISITES
Participants must be of 21 years of age or older. Medically fit, must be of good character. Participants must attend an accredited training course.
DURATION
2 Day Individual Training and Assessment full course and 1 day renewal (3 yearly).
The two day course covers Classification, Marking, Documentation, Bulk Loads, Segregation and Compatibility plus Responsibilities of the individuals involved.
QUALIFICATION GAINED
Participants will be training and tested in the following competency(s) from the recognised training package and will receive a Certificate of Attainment from:
TDT 30202 - Certificate III Transport & Distribution (Road Transport)
