Course Description:
'' To develop a thorough understanding of the safety requirements, operating procedures and principles involved in Fork Lift Truck operations.
DESIGNED FOR
Participants who have been operating a forklift under supervision and now wish to be tested for competency in accordance with the National Competency Standards.
PRE-REQUISITES
Must have operating experience and a good knowledge of the rules and regulations for the safe operation of a forklift. A log sheet with at least 15 operating hours is preferable; however this is not mandatory for assessment.
Minimum age of 18 years at the time of assessment
DURATION
Two (2) hours for individual assessment.
If any participant is not up to the standard at completion of assessment then the test will not go ahead and full charges will apply.
QUALIFICATION GAINED
Successful applicants will receive a Prescribed Occupation Assessment Report. This report will be required to be sent to Workplace Health and Safety for issue of a licence by the applicant.
Further charges, payable to Workplace Health and Safety, will apply for the issue of a licence
