'' Adobe After Effects is a professional compositing, visual effects, and 2D animation software for desktop computers. It permits the animation of Photoshop layers to produce motion graphic elements found in film, television, DVD, and corporate presentations. It also adds high end special effects to independent video productions. This course is for students who wish to learn the basics of creating computer animations and special effects using a world renowned software. Emphasis will be put on the following: the overall interface, the timeline, layers, compositing, keyframes, and 2D animation techniques.
