'' The English Writing Workshop program (5 levels) is designed to help students improve their writing skills by building on the foundations of good English written communication, from short writing tasks to academic/business reports. Using both listening and reading materials as input for writing, students acquire the skills to communicate effectively and accurately in written English. The nature of the writing workshop is to work together with your classmates to gather information, discuss ideas, and to help each other improve in English.
At each level, students produce a portfolio of work demonstrating their progress. Students should be at a low intermediate level of general English to qualify for this program.
A Certificate of Proficiency is awarded upon the successful completion (60%) of level 5.
A Certificate of Proficiency with Distinction is awarded to students who obtain a grade of 75% or more upon completion of Level 5.
