Course Description:

'' The objective of this course is to enhance the student’s skills in Java programming focusing on the client side. The student will learn to develop sophisticated user interfaces using Swing for both desktop and browser based applet programs. The use of Data Structures as implemented in the Java Collections Framework will be explored and applied in solving problems. The Java Security architecture will be examined as it applies to applications and applets. Throughout this course the focus is on the application of object-oriented techniques such as inheritance and polymorphism in developing solutions in the Java language.
