'' The objective of this course is to train the student in the development of web services in the JEE environment and in the processing of XML documents in the Java language. The course will present the web services architecture using Java and demonstrate how to build services from existing applications. Topics include using SOAP to create web services, deployment, description and discovery of web services, and using web services from Java solutions written as JSPs, Servlets and desktop applications.
