'' Mac OS X v10.3 is here and the most important question you have is: ˇ°How can it help me?ˇ± This course, part of the Mac OS X Individual Learning Collection, will answer that question by showing you how to be more productive with those things you do every day, such as email, instant messaging, and accessing the Internet.
Delivery Options Because not everyone learns in the same way, Apple offers different course delivery options.
Leader-led course This one-day course includes demonstrations as well as extensive hands-on practice, and is delivered by an Apple Certified Trainer at your location or an Apple Training Center. Each participant receives a full-color guide and a CD that includes the self- paced course and sample files to support the practice exercises.

Single CD set or Media Kit CD (network and individual installation) Individual system Macintosh computer with PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor Mac OS X v10.3 installed (use Erase install option) Display with 1024 by 768 pixels, 16-bit resolution 128MB of physical RAM (256MB RAM preferred) 2GB available hard disk space (4GB hard drive preferred) CD-ROM drive (Combo drive or SuperDrive optional) AirPort Card, if Internet connection is via wireless network 100BASE-T Ethernet
Onsite classroom (for one-day course)
All machines should be connected on the same 100-Mbps Ethernet network and have their connectivity tested prior to first day of class. This network must be isolated from any other customer network. One 100-Mbps Ethernet switch with at least five more ports that the maximum number of students is required. For example, if there are 11 students in a class, you will need to provide a switch with at least 16 ports. An Internet connection is required. Student workstations may access the Internet via a separate network. If access is via a wireless network, all student workstations must have AirPort Cards.
