'' The theoretical and practical course is designed to reflect the role of individuals working in arts administration. Students participate in practical projects in simulated environments, museums, gallery restaurants and/or public galleries.
The Arts Administration course has two strands running concurrently throughout the year.
A generic arts administration strand relevant to all art forms covering planning, financing and marketing.
A practical application strand which focuses on devising, developing and presenting a range of real and simulated exhibitions and events.
The course will incorporate a combination of learning strategies including class work, excursions and practical experience. The course is also suited to those who are currently employed in an arts administration role where they are able to develop their skills on the job.
