Course Description:
'' The course aims to provide graduates with the broad-based knowledge and practical skills required to gain and sustain professional employment in the arts and entertainment industry;
as a member of the technical crew on a show/event as an employee of a theatre based or independent production company as a member or leader in events at a variety of venues. Participants can choose to leave training after 1 year with a recognised pathway qualification at either Certificate III or Certificate IV level, depending on the units selected and completed. The Diploma Live Production, Theatre and Events is the industry standard.
Individual units may be undertaken by industry personnel to expand their skills without completing a full time course or obtaining the full qualification. A Statement of Attainment will be issued.

Essential: All participants will be required to prepare for and participate in a selection process, to help determine their suitability for the course.
Desirable: Applicants should be at least 16 years of age, be of sound health and fitness with a willingness to work long hours. Applicants will also need to be able to demonstrate a strong desire to work in the entertainment industry.
