The Diploma of Music can lead to a career in the music industry, further musical studies, and is a nationally recognised qualification.
The Diploma of Music is an ideal way to further study music for those people who hold a Certificate IV in Music, a Pre-tertiary music qualification and people who have worked in the music industry and wish to gain skills and a qualification. The course covers a variety of essential skills needed for a career in the music industry.
Music is both an industry and an art form, meeting cultural and recreational needs while also offering employment opportunities across many sectors: recording, publishing, retail, radio, television, film video, advertising, computer software, multimedia, teaching, and of course, performance.
