'' In response to the legislative requirement (AS2865) that anyone working in, on or around a confined space has the appropriate training, TAFE Tasmania is this year running regular one-day awareness training sessions across the State. We are also able to offer customised or on-site training sessions for groups of employees along with re-assessment of existing employees.
The one-day awareness session is nationally accredited and complies with AS2865.

Effects on Health & Safety relating to Confined Space
Identification of Confined Space
Assess and Control of Risks
Permits and Isolators
Management Consultation and Implementation
Information and Training
OH&S Philosophy and Practices
Alternatives to Entry

Effective Communication within a Confined Space
Dangers of Plant
Note: Your Confined Space licence must be renewed every 2 years by completing a Refresher course.
