The overall aim of this course is to produce graduates with the skills, knowledge and aptitudes, which will enable them to perform the duties of a gas service person competent to install, commission and service Industrial Type ‘B�Gas Appliances. Basic gas principals are included in this ten day course.
The demand for highly skilled service operatives reflects the dramatic impact of technological advancement in this area of gas fitting, including specifications, automatic and computer driven control systems and unique appliance designs.
Outcome: On satisfactory completion of the units the learner will have displayed competencies in the nationally agreed training specification-5582.
Pre-Requisites: Applicants must be from a trade/professional area and have completed the Basic Gas Skills
