'' Australian Career Development Studies (ACDS) (Component 3) is an online postgraduate certificate level unit appropriate for practitioners working in the career development area who have a tertiary qualification or equivalent, but no formal qualifications specifically in career development. However, career practitioners with formal qualifications in career development may also find this unit useful as a professional development activity. The unit is not in itself a formal qualification; rather it is designed as an introduction to the broad field of career development in preparation for further formal study. The Department of Education, Science & Training (DEST) own this course and information can be found on www.career.edu.au . Completion of ACDS Component 3 provides 25% credit towards fulfilment of RMIT’s Graduate Certificate in Careers Counselling.
