'' The Building Designer is a professional who designs, presents and documents buildings. The Building Designer works from a client brief for a project to establish a design proposal, then prepares the documentation required to establish permits and approvals for the building project. This course is designed to give participants an overview of the building design profession by introducing some of the main activities a building designer could potentially encounter. The course will include a taster of the various types of drawing systems used by the designer including: design and development drawings, presentation drawings and an introduction to reading and interpreting building plans.
