'' Fiona will demonstrate her slab / hand-building methods and students will construct their own forms using these techniques. Forms are to be modeled from SLAB COILS that will grow from the base up. This technique is more effective than the conventional coil technique - particularly for large works. Explore texture, volume, piercing, and hollowing techniques. These forms will explore the horizontal axis, and develop ideas/designs based on microscopic imagery.
