'' In this course participants will learn to create graphic images (vector based) through Adobe Illustrator. This course is designed for anyone who needs to create digital artwork for printing; graphic artists, textile artists and illustration designers, pre-press operators in electronic publishing and anyone with an interest in this area of graphics. This course is delivered on the Macintosh platform. However PC users will not find this an obstacle as the commands are very similar. The course will cover topics including: Tools palette and their functions, Menus and their associated commands, Curves and grids, Manipulating type and objects, Compound paths and shapes, Gradient blends, Filters and special effects, Trapping and preparing for print.
