'' This course covers basic to more advanced features of the InDesign application. The course is suitable for those interested in assembling graphic elements ? applying type and illustration controls, page make-up and formatting. This course caters for pre-press, graphic designers, and DTP/office personnel and anyone who has a need for this software. This course is delivered on the PC platform. However Macintosh users will not find this an obstacle as the commands are very similar. The course covers topics including: Document set-up, Preferences, Palettes, including toolbox, measurements, colour, document layout and style sheets, Nature of text, Importing text and graphics, Manipulating text and graphics, Linking text, Layers, Text styles and formats, Text run around and Output controls.
